What happens if you don’t trim your wick?
Well, your flame could become too large, smoke or soot, burn unevenly and even extinguish itself.
Trimming your wooden wick is extremely easy. You can use these gorgeous wick trimmers and trim to about 1/8-3/16 of an inch, or you could simply pinch off any excess char with your fingertips (of course, once the candle is cool) to expose natural wood and voilà! You’re ready to properly and safely burn!
